Hey everybody (or nobody, since this is the first post)! The introductory post is brought to you by Sara. Sara is one half of this blog; the other half is Missy. Sara and Missy have been friends since 1994 when they met in Algebra class. Missy was a sophomore and Sara was a freshman. Missy was wearing a long tube dress and a holographic eye necklace, and was drawing dirty pictures of Smurfs. She was the coolest person Sara had ever met.
Today, Sara lives in North Idaho with her husband, eight-year-old son, six-year-old daughter, two yappy dogs, four cats and one rat. Sara is going to leave most of Missy's details up to her to share when she can, but Missy also lives with her husband, two kids and pets.
We fancy ourselves Renaissance women. We enjoy fine arts, crafts, cooking, gardening... you name it, we're into it. Missy is a talented artist. Sara is not so artsy, but more crafty.
We've both been diagnosed with food intolerances and allergies, including gluten intolerance. This has made eating a challenge, so I'm sure we'll cover recipes in this blog.
